We are proud to announce the concept design for Fraser Coast Library & Admin Building has been approved and endorsed by council. In collaboration with Cottee Parker, Bloc Design has created a design that will set a new standard for commercial development in the region. This project will be a catalyst for further development, creating a CBD foundation along with a city heart for Hervey Bay. The foundation for the development has a strong placemaking strategy that ties to a local sense of place. The building will be approximately 9,000sqm and will house a Public Library, Council Chambers, Disaster Resilience Centre, and the Administration Office for more than 360 Council employees. Completion date is 2025.
